Brewery Creek Burgers

Burgers made with local ingredients are the highlight of our lunch menu. The beef is locally grown and growth hormone free. Our cheese comes from Hook’s just up the street. Our bacon comes from nearby Cuba City and our tomatoes come from the next town south,  Darlington. Our sesame seed buns are made for us by a European-style bakery in Madison. We add roasted garlic and spices to the meat and hand patty each one.

The signature and most popular dressing.  Creamy emulsified vinaigrette.

Classic American French

A from scratch American style French dressing.

Bleu Cheese

Made with Hook’s one year aged Bleu cheese.

Sweet & Spicy Ginger Dressing

A little hot and sweet at the same time. Terrific.

Vinaigrette

A classic oil and vinegar dressing. Extra virgin olive oil, Sherry vinegar, dry mustard, salt, and pepper.

Ranch

Buttermilk Ranch dressing.

Starters

Authentic Hand Made Belgian Fries – $4.00

Why are they authentic? As the Belgians know, there are no short cuts to a good fry. We start with raw Idaho potatoes. We peel them, we cut them, and then we soak them in water. We blanch them in a low temperature peanut oil, let them weep, and then fry them a second time, to order, at a higher temperature. Just like they do in Belgium.

To make them even better, add *Aioli. – $.50

Wisconsin Cheese Platter – $7.50

A sampling of locally produced cheeses. Choose three from the following: Hook’s one year aged Sharp Cheddar, Hook’s Colby, Hook’s one year aged Swiss, Hook’s one year aged Bleu, Lactalis Brie, or our own Brewery Creek Beer Cheese Spread (made with Brewery Creek beer and Hook’s Sharp Cheddar). Why is this so good? We start with corn, creamed corn, sour cream, butter, eggs, and corn meal, and then bake it. The result is warm, rich and very good.

We make our soups from scratch. With a New York flat bread.
